Aesthetic Fillings

This is a creative layer-after-layer teeth tissue restoration by using filling materials. These materials are polished to natural shine and has a wide range of colors. This is a particularly thorough procedure, during which the surface of the tooth is carefully restored by applying restorative materials to the healthy teeth tissues.

Professional Oral Hygiene

For most of us brushing the teeth is not sufficient. Soft white deposits accumulate in the areas where it is difficult to clean, and the gum reacts to bacteria thriving in the deposit by bleeding, redness and pain. If still not cleaned, deposits turn into hard deposits – calculus (tartar). A new soft deposit forms on the calculus; the gum and the bone contact the microorganisms and start to “recede downwards”, the bone starts to recess and displacement of teeth appear, which, finally, results in the loss of teeth.

During professional oral hygiene procedure soft and hard deposits and various pigments are removed. The teeth are polished with a special paste using ultrasound equipment.

Teeth Whitening

Sometimes, professional oral hygiene is sufficient for your teeth to be whiter. However, people can have dark teeth since childhood or it can be caused by trauma or endodontic treatment. In this case, various teeth whitening systems can help you.

Prosthetic Dentistry

Prosthodontics is used to recreate hard dental tissues, anatomic form and colour (which have changed because of inborn or acquired pathology) when filling materials cannot restore it. In our clinic, prosthetic dentistry is accomplished by using fixed prostheses: metal-ceramic, zirconium oxide, non-metal ceramic, metal-acrylic restorations and removable dentures: complete and partial, metal-frame removable partial dentures, and prostheses on implants (fixed and removable).

Aesthetic prosthetic procedures are also performed by using partial restorations, veneers, inlays and onlays.

Endodontic Therapy

Endodontic therapy is root canal treatment. When decay affects dentine, microorganisms and toxins may reach the dental pulp (nerve fibers, blood vessels and lymphatic vessels), thus causing inflammation. Clinical symptoms: spontaneous, pulsating and spasmodic toothache, especially at nighttime, and pain caused by various irritants. However, there can be no distinct symptoms. Irreversible changes take place when inflammation spreads to the entire tissue of the pulp. So, in order to protect alveolar bone from toxins, the pulp must be removed from the tooth root canals, and endodontic specialist must prepare it for canal filling. That is what endodontic treatment is for.

Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal Treatment is treatment of gums and marginal bone diseases.

Gingivitis is an inflammation which spreads throughout the gums. The symptoms are: red gums, bleeding when brushing teeth, bad breath and altered taste. Periodontitis is a more difficult form. It starts when the cause of the disease is not treated (most often, the treatment is removing soft and hard deposit), the inflammation spreads to the hard tissues and the marginal bone is affected, deep recess and teeth mobility appear. The disease progression can be stopped if professional oral hygiene is regularly performed.

Corrective therapy is usually needed if periodontitis progresses. Possible options include surgical treatment of periodontitis (gums and bone), gingivectomy, gingivectomy with bone shaping, curettage (cleaning of dental pockets), patch operations and frenectomy.

After the surgical phase (2-5 months), maintenance and reconstructive treatment is perfomed – filling, prosthodontics and professional oral hygiene.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are screw-shaped surgical devices made of titanium used to replace one or more missing teeth. This way, a support for recreating a tooth with a crown is created. Implants can become the necessary support for a single crown or bridge dentures, thus the necessity of wearing a removable denture is eliminated.

Implants are placed using local anesthesia, the operation lasts about one or two hours. The integration period is 3-6 months, during which patient’s oral hygiene is very important. After healing period, the prosthesis by placing a crown on the implant is perform
